Carleen Bryant
MS, NCC, LPC-MH
Carleen Bryant received her BA from UCLA. She earned a teaching credential, taught high schoool in CA for seven years, and still holds a valid CA teaching credential. As a CA transplant to the Midwest, Carleen attended SDSU and earned a MS in counseling. She is NCC certified, received her LPC-MH, and has QMHP certification. Carleen has experience working with adolescents, assiting people with adjustment to regional differences, and is very comfortable with cultural diversity challenges. In addition, Carleen has experience working with individuals and couples in the areas of depression, life transitions, spirituality, women's issues, self-esteem, parenting concerns, guilt and shame recovery, social skills and communication training, PTSD, emotional intensity, and grief and loss issues.
Kim J. CournoyerEd.S., LPC-MH
Kim J. Cournoyer has been working in the mental health and addictions field since 1998. Areas of specialty include developmental and adjustment issues for adolescents, families/couples, and cultural transitions. Ms. Cournoyer has experience in working within the specific areas of ADHD, anxiety, anger management and with adults surviving childhood abuse. Ms. Cournoyer is actively involved in issues of diversity and promoting multi-cultural awareness.
Norma HaanMSSA, CSW/PIP
Norma Haan is a Certified Social Worker in Private Independent Practice and has been working in the mental health field for over 25 years. She focuses on brief therapy, and works with individuals, couples, families, veterans, young adults, and elderly. Norma specializes in treatment of depression and anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, marital problems, parent-child problems, and issues involved in adult life transitions and adjustments.
Tara Olson-LarsonM.A., LPC-MH
Tara Olson-Larson, M.A., received her master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology in Education and is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health. She has experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in both individual, family and group settings. Special areas of interest are working with children and adolescents in areas of abuse, grief/loss issues, trauma, depression, behavioral issues, and divorce issues.
Scott PribylEd.D.
Dr. Scott Pribyl, is a Licensed Psychologist, having provided mental health services in and around Sioux Falls since 1987. Dr. Pribyl has worked in the mental health field since 1978 and has extensive experience with Critical Incident Stress Debriefing; stress management; parenting and life adjustment; divorce and family mediation; family violence and sexual abuse issues. Dr. Pribyl also performs psychological, psychosexual and forensic evaluations and accepts attorney and court referrals.
Stephan LangenfeldEd.D.
Dr. Stephan Langenfeld, Ed.D. is a Licensed Psychologist whose areas of expertise include marriage and family counseling, psychological testing/ evaluations, parenting, and individual counseling regarding a broad range of issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anger management, and relationship issues.
Carolyn RothsLPC-MH
Carolyn Roths, M. Ed., is a Licensed Professional Counselor-MH, with Chemical Dependency Certification Training. She has been in practice since 1985 with experience in individual, family, and relationship counseling, as well as addictions. Ms. Roths has functioned as a cotherapist in sex offender treatment. She is trained in working with Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.
Clint SperleM.A., LPC-MH
Clint Sperle, M.A. received his degree in Counseling and Psychology in Education and is a Licensed Professional Counselor-MH. He works with children, adolescents and adults in individual, group and family settings. Special areas of interest include working with children and adolescents in areas related to: sexual abuse issues, evaluations for children with sexualized behaviors, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues and adjustment issues. Clint also works with children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities.
David SundemM.S., LPC NCC
David Sundem, M.S., received a Master’s of Education degree in Counseling from South Dakota State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of South Dakota for a Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychology. David has worked in the mental health field since 1998. He works with adolescents and adults in individual, group and couples settings. Specialty areas include: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and group therapy for offenders.
Jeff TrammellMSW
Jeff Trammell, MSW, is a certified social worker in Private Independent Practice. Mr. Trammell has been working in the mental health field since 1979. He has extensive experience in crisis intervention, group, family, individual, and couples therapy. Mr. Trammell has extensive experience working with small children, as well as adolescents. Mr. Trammell also completes adoption homestudies, pre and post placement adoptive services, Custody Evaluations, Mediation Agreements and Forensic Evaluations. Mr. Trammell’s practice includes women’s self-defense classes for businesses, church groups, health organizations or other groups.
Richard WhittenPh.D.
Dr. Richard Whitten, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, specializing in neuropsychology. He is the region’s only board certified neuropsychologist. He specializes in the evaluation of neurobehavioral disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, autism, stroke, head injury, MS, Down’s syndrome and learning problems. Dr. Whitten sees clients in his Sioux Falls Office, as well as at local nursing homes and hospitals.
